Parameterize activities

You parameterize activities in the following BPM|Flow properties:

Property

Description

Responsible

In this property you assign the users or groups that are responsible for the activity and perform it. In order for the process to be transferred to the BPM|Flow system, the names of the process participants in Aeneis must match the names stored as users or groups in your BPM|Flow system.

Attention: If the names used for the transfer differ in both systems, the transfer to your BPM|Flow system will fail.

Duration

In this property you can enter the time in which the BPM|Flow activity must be completed.

Tasks

In this property you create the BPM|Flow tasks that a user performs within the activity.

Events

In this property you create BPM|Flow events that are triggered at the beginning or end of an activity.

Create and parameterize BPM|Flow tasks

BPM|Flow tasks are the individual steps within a BPM|Flow activity. BPM|Flow activities consist of one or more BPM|Flow tasks.

Create BPM|Flow tasks:

You can create BPM|Flow tasks in WebModeller in the following ways:

  • In the model overview via the context menu

  • In the properties of a BPM|Flow task. Here you can also add an existing BPM|Flow task.

Parameterize BPM|Flow tasks:

To further parameterize the BPM|Flow task, you can open its properties or use the pencil to open the extended reference table.

In the extended reference table you can create and edit BPM|Flow task:

Here you assign the user or group that will perform the BPM|Flow task.

Here you can see the name of the link that is stored in a BPM|Flow task.

Here you select one of the following link classes:

  • SimpleLink

  • ProcessVariableLink

Here you can attach a file for the link.
