Parameterize events

You parameterize events in the following BPM|Flow properties:

Responsible

In this property you assign the users or groups that are responsible for the activity and perform it. In order for the process to be transferred to the BPM|Flow system, the names of the process participants in Aeneis must match the names stored as users or groups in your BPM|Flow system.

Attention: If the names used for the transfer differ in both systems, the transfer to your BPM|Flow system will fail.

Description This property exists only for start events. Here you enter a description of the start event.
Owner

This property exists only for start events. Here you assign the owner. For example, owners can assign tasks to any group or user, archive instances, and view all instances of a particular process.

In order for the process to be transferred to the BPM|Flow system, the names of the process participants in Aeneis must match the names stored as users or groups in your BPM|Flow system.

Attention: If the names used for the transfer differ in both systems, the transfer to your BPM|Flow system will fail.

Starter This property exists only for start events. Here you assign the users or groups that are allowed to start the process.
Deployer This property exists only for start events. Here you enter the users or groups that are allowed to deploy the process as workflow designers.
Section definition This property exists only for start events. The section definition of the smart form is entered here.
Calculate critical path

This property exists only for start events. Here you specify whether the critical path should be calculated.

With a BPM|Flow event, an ActionHandler is triggered when it occurs.

Property

Description

Event type

Here you select the type of event that determines when the event is triggered:

  • Node Enter: The event is triggered at the beginning of the activity.

  • Node Leave: The event is triggered when the activity ends.

Action name

Here you can enter an action name.

BPM|Flow Action class

Here you select the ActionHandler that is triggered in the BPM|Flow system via the event.
