Control access rights via licenses
In Aeneis, access rights are controlled via ACLs and licenses. If floating-name licenses are installed, certain users have access to certain functionalities.

License groups
Groups that have the License group tab in the properties can be assigned floating-named licenses. The License group tab shows which users have received a floating-name license in order.

Note: When users are added to a license group, it can take up to 30 minutes for the rights to be assigned to the users.
Coloring in license groups
Different colors are used in the list in the License group tab to indicate which users have received a license - and for what reason.
Dark green: The user or the group to which he/she belongs is directly assigned as a member and has received a license.
Light green: The user has a license in a higher-level license group and therefore automatically receives a license for the lower-level group.
Red: No license is available for the user.
Tip: To give him/her a license, change the order in the Members tab accordingly.
Gray: Available licenses are only assigned to active users. Deactivated users who are still members of this or the higher-level license group are always positioned at the bottom of the list and highlighted in gray.
Change order
You can change the order of the users in the license group using the arrow buttons in the Members tab. To do this, select a user and move him/her up or down using the corresponding button:
