Set up and connect Azure OpenAI

If you want to use the AI services in Aeneis via your own Azure tenant, set up the required Foundry resources, generate the required certificates and configure authentication. You can choose between two variants:

  1. Access via a central APIM gateway with routing to multiple regions/instances (recommended)

  2. Direct access to a Foundry resource without APIM

Hinweis: Alternatively, you can use an Azure tenant provided by intellior.

Requirements

  • Azure with permission to create app registrations and role mapping on the Foundry resource

  • Foundry resources provided (region, deployments/models, quota)

  • SSL tool on the system on which Aeneis is running, e.g. OpenSSL

  • Use of the corresponding certificate files in Azure and the application.yml in the Aeneis application directory

  • Aeneis service account with read access to the certificate files
